The Tollywood box office has been running high on dry of late with not many films able to strike the right chord with the Telugu audience. But the coming weekend promises to be a hopeful one with a set of prospective films headed for a theatrical debut.
Vishwak Sen’s Gaami and Gopichand’s Bhima are headed for release on the 8th of this month along with Telugu-dubbed Malayali film Premalu.

Gaami looks to be a new-age attempt with grade-A making values. This film has shown a lot of promise with the trailer earlier and is being looked upon by a section of the audience.
As for Gopichand, his recent filmography has been shaky with not many successes to show for. He is returning to the commercial genre with Bhima and he seemed fairly confident about the film while speaking at the media meets. It has to be seen how the film will fare.

Then there is Premalu which struck a chord with the Mallu folk. It might cater to the youth to an extent but there isn’t much hype in the Telugu space ahead of its release though.
All three films releasing this weekend belong to different genres and they have their own set of audiences. It has to be seen is they can put an end to the dull last few weeks and pull the audience to the theaters.
