Just when it all looked settled, here we have a not entirely unexpected twist in the tale with the release of magnum opus 2.0. Once again, talks about the reshuffle in dates have emerged.

The reason for this sudden emergence is the announcement of the arrival of Akshay Kumar’s next Padman for Republic Day. As we all know, the Bollywood star plays a vital role in the Shankar’s epic sequel of Robo.
Earlier when Padman’s shoot was going on it was said that the unit is targeting a Republic Day release. But when that led to postponement rumors of other Akshay starrer, the makers officially announced the release date for April 13 thereby reaffirming 2.0 time indirectly.
In parallel to 2.0 Superstar Rajinikanth also has Kaala which is said to come on Tamil New Year Day in April. If 2.0 is indeed postponed where does that leave Kaala? Will 2.0 be pushed ahead or brought forward considering its audio also has been launched? So many questions and theories floating around. Let us wait for official confirmation from the unit to see what the latest status of the magnum opus movie of 2018 is?
