It was a dream come true for Ram Charan fans when Dil Raju announced a film under his banner in the combination of Ram Charan and Maverick director Shankar. Everyone felt it was a perfect follow-up to RRR.
But it has been two years since shooting started, and Game Changer has undergone numerous changes in its shooting schedules and release plans. The film isn’t even 50% complete yet.
The enthusiasm of the fans has been dampened by director Shankar and the Game Changer team, intentionally or unintentionally. Producer Dil Raju has reiterated that he bears no responsibility for any aspect of Game Changer; the fate of the film rests solely in the hands of Shankar.
Dil Raju made these remarks during his appearance at Varun Tej’s “Gandeevadhari Arjuna” pre-release event, where the audience fervently cheered for “Game Changer.” He acknowledged this response but emphasized that he has no control over the film, its shooting schedules, or its promotions, leaving the decision-making solely to director Shankar.
Despite having a star hero like Ram Charan, fresh from the success of RRR, it’s a pity that a producer of Dil Raju’s stature has gotten himself into this helpless situation due to a Tamil director. The film is literally turning out to be a game changer for a shrewd producer like Dil Raju but in a bad way.
