With multiple releases in offing from ‘Mega’ family someone had to take the bait. Well that someone unfortunately is going to be none other than the new kid on the block from the family, Varun Tej. The actor who is going to make his debut with the film reportedly titled Gollabhama, is moving out of a lucrative Dushera season to release the film in a dead season which could be either October end or November.
Shooting of the film is currently in final stages. The unit has recently revealed that the talkie portions of the film will be completed by the end of the month leaving only three songs to be shot. These songs were expected to be shot and completed in August leaving the film to release on time in September end or October. With Ram Charan’s film also being slotted for the same time, the makers had no other choice but to budge and make way for the bigger star.
Gollabhama is directed by Srikanth Addala and stars Puja Hegde in female lead. Music for the film is composed by Mickey J Mayer, a regular for the director. The makers are now looking at Diwali as the possible time to release the film.
