From its teaser to the reception of music, Hrithik Roshan’s Bang Bang had everything going its way. On the other hand Haider another film that released along with it carried gloominess all along and even was given a small release in comparison with Bang Bang. So what is the final verdict now that both the movies have released and the initial opening day euphoria has died down? It is clear that smaller film has stolen the bang of the bigger film.
Ever since the release of both films on October 2, Bang Bang is getting critically mauled where as Haider on the other hand is being hailed as a masterpiece and word of mouth for the film is increasing with each show. The end result is that after a sensational opening Hrithik’s Bang Bang dropped on second day where as Shahid Kapoor’s Haider saw a growth and collections increased from day 1. And the cherry on top is that Shahid Kapoor is pegged by entire critical community to win all the awards in the year end awards season. This clash highlights how money is not be all and end all sometimes in film industry.
