While a bee line of young heroes can be seen in Tollywood, senior heroes are still in spot light challenging the young generation heroes. The very recent three industry hits namely ‘Legend’, ‘Manam’ and ‘Drushyam’ from three top senior heroes is in itself a candid testimony. This time, senior heroes acted their age in these movies and audience found them refreshing and more natural in mature roles. All the three above said movies got no mixed reviews or opinions from the critics. In fact, these movies were unanimously appreciated by both critics and common audiences.
Though she is a bit on heavier side, Venky went for his yesteryear heroine Meena because he needs an actress who can give mature expressions. Even Nagarjuna roped in senior heroine Shriya Saran, who had been a hit pair with him. Since they can’t run around trees with heroines anymore, they need to put up a matured look and senior heroines compliment them very well in this regard. So the impending question is, which senior heroine would suit Balayya at this point of his career.
Balayya did quite a number of movies with Vijayashanti, but she is out of question now. Nagma is busy in politics. Shobana has quit films. And a few others aren’t in good shape to pair opposite Balayya. Roja and Meena fall under the same bill. Raveena Tandon still has great looks and Nayanatara still doing films with younger heroes. Sneha made a come back recently. Ofcourse even Shriya has been his pair once. Who would be the lucky one if Balayya chooses to opt for a senior heroine in anyone of his upcoming movies?
