It is Superstar Rajinikanth who interfered with them and sorted out the issue. The producers were particularly anxious because the film got postponed several times. Hence, Rajinikanth took the initiative to assure Lyca productions that they will have a release on 27th April as the date was earlier scheduled for Shankar’s movie.
Rajinikanth’s ‘Kaala’ is going to replace ‘2.0’ and release on 27th April. This Pa Ranjith directorial was produced by Rajinikanth son-in-law Dhanush’s Wunderbar Films. Lyca Productions is distributing ‘Kaala’ and therefore Rajinikanth made sure that the producer of his Shankar’s directorial isn’t going to face losses.
