If the news in the media are to be believed, Pawan Kalyan is trying his might to get Vijayawada MP ticket for Potluri Vara Prasad. He reportedly told TDP and BJP that he will campaign for the parties only if PVP is given the seat. It is known that PVP is funding Jana Sena. He spent a lot of money for the public meetings of the actor in Hyderabad and Vishakapatnam. Chandra Babu Naidu is considering it and so he did not announce any candidate for Vijayawada Parliament seat till now.
Potluri Vara Prasad was earlier with Jagan. He was Vijayawada Parliamentary seat incharge from YSR Congress. But he later differed with Jagan on some issue and walked out of the party. He met Chandra Babu Naidu later and requested him for Vijayawada MP seat. But CBN refused him the seat, it was then PVP teamed up with Pawan Kalyan. One more interesting aspect is Pawan Kalyan’s name is missing from the list of star campaigners submitted by the BJP to the chief electoral officer where as the list submitted by Lok Satta has Pawan Kalyan name.
