First weekend of the film Temper is over and it has posted solid figures. As we have reported previously it is sure to enter into the top 5 opening week. Here we are keeping aside such top lists and looking closely at what the numbers suggest and how the future course of Tarak could be bettered using that.
The first three days collections of Temper suggest a similar pattern to that of Baadshah among the past few films of Jr NTR. The important thing to notice here is the collections of the film in Nizam and Overseas, two territories that were said to be weak links for the star, have in fact been the better performing areas for these two films. While his strong areas like Ceded and Guntur continue to show strength it is the rise in these territories that is taking his overall collections tally a notch higher.
We all know that in today’s market of Tollywood Nizam and Overseas play huge role in final grosses. What this means is that Tarak needs to continue choosing films in similar style to Baadshah and Temper going forward as well. This is only way that would enable him to compete with the top stars and fulfill his dream of becoming the number one star, sooner or later. Sukumar film which the actor is doing next is therefore a right follow up for Temper as the director is known for perfect presentation that suits the tastes of audience in these territories.
One may ask about the depreciation in other territories and smaller centers where the star is adored for his mass films and has huge mass image and base. When a star is delivering success one after the other sooner or later the entire base will come onboard and see the star in new light, is all the needs to be said in that aspect.
