Post the success of I, one would’ve naturally expected Vikram to team up with another popular filmmaker but he’s surprised everybody by signing two new projects with filmmakers who are just one film old. It is learnt that Vikram has signed two Tamil projects with director Anand Shankar of Arima Nambi fame and Amid of Rajathandiram fame.

Agreed both Anand and Amid recently produced two remarkably good Tamil films, but one still wonders why would Vikram risk his career by working young filmmakers. It’s being said that he will simultaneously shoot for these projects. If these projects, Vikram has to take the blame on himself as he wouldn’t have anyone else to bank on.
Vikram is currently busy wrapping up 10 Enradhukulla with Vijay Milton. Coincidentally, Vikram’s next three films are with one-film old directors. Looks like the actor is finally starting to give importance to script over director. Is this risk worth taking? Let’s wait and find out.
