The trailer of Suma Kanakala’s Jayamma Panchayathi was unveiled by Pawan Kalyan a short while ago. Let’s see what this trailer has to offer.
The trailer starts off with Suma calling for a Pachayathi on a peculiar development. The villagers question Suma why she’s doing something like this but she stands firm. What’s Jayamma so adamant about? This is the hook point.
Suma looks authentic in the role of a rustic village belle who goes to any extent for the well-being of her family. The narrative also revolves around teenage love track, and casteism. The film appears to be essentially based on a village ecosystem.
MM Keeravani’s background score for the trailer is uplifting. The rustic visuals are decent. But the heart and soul should be bang on point for rustic dramas to strike a chord with the viewers and this is the biggest challenge Jayamma Panchayathi will face.
The film is directed by Vijay Kalivarapu and produced by Balaga Prakash. The film hits the theatres on 6th May.
