When did the last time we saw superstar Rajnikanth and Universal Star Kamal Haasan sharing screen space with each other? It was back in 1985 for a Hindi movie titled ‘Giraftaar’ That was really long back.

Though Kamal recently got a chance to share screen space with Rajnikanth, he declined the big offer without even considering because Kamal says that if they had to star in a movie together, it has to be produced by either of the two to satisfy the duo’s fans.
Coming to the film in which Kamal was offered, it is Shankar’s upcoming movie ‘2.O’, sequel for Robo. Kamal was asked to play the villain. But since he declined the prestigious role went to Bollywood action star Akshay Kumar.
Kamal had no problem to play negative roles, but it’s the reason mentioned above for which he didn’t accept the offer.
