After former Telugu actor Sumalatha made it official about her contest in Lok Sabha polls elections with the support of the two top star heroes of the Kannada film industry, political tyrants pelted stones on the house of one of them.
Darshan and KGF star Yash accompanied Sumalatha in the meet where she announced her contest against the CM’s son Nikhil Kumaraswamy from Mandya. Days after the heroes showcased their support to the widow of the recently demised Ambareesh, a mob attacked Darshan’s house with stones and damaged properties while the hero is away for shooting.
While the incident is quite disturbing, Sumalatha decided to stay quiet except condemning the act saying such threats cannot affect them and their supporters. Well, Mandya constituency has been the winning constituency for Ambareesh consecutively three times, Sumalatha has been rejected the seat from the Congress Party and is contesting independently now.
