King Jackie Queen, KJQ, starring Deekshit Shetty, Sashi Odela, Yukti Thareja is releasing on 7th August. Unfortunately, director of the film, KK passed away due to a long illness and producer Sudhakar Cherukuri stood by his dream and completed the movie. Mythri Ravi, Sampath Nandi, Srikanth Odela attended the pre-release event as special guests.
Sampath Nandi stated that he had a 20 years of friendship bond with KK. He remembered how KK always used to ask for innovation and new creative thoughts. He thanked Sudhakar Cherukuri for completing the film and releasing it. He requested audiences to watch it for the craftsman KK had been.
Srikanth Odela stated that even though his brother Sashi Odela is debuting with the film, he wishes it succeeds only for KK, due to his passion. Deekshit Shetty expressed his gratitude to the director and thanked entire team who stood like rock to complete and release the film. He stated that audiences will love every second of it.
Mythri Ravi stated that he did not know KK personally but he loved the trailer. He called it looked like an Hollywood film. He asked audiences to come to the theatres and watch the film as they have been supporting many. He classified it to be the fitting tribute to a person like KK.
