Mega Prince Varun Tej is all set to offer entertainment and thrills with Korean Kanakaraju, a horror-comedy directed by Merlapaka Gandhi and produced by UV Creations in association with First Frame Entertainment.
Even before its theatrical arrival, the film has started generating strong business. The digital streaming rights have reportedly been snapped up by a popular OTT platform for a fancy price, reflecting the confidence the trade has in the project.
The positive response to the title glimpse and the first single has helped the film stay in the spotlight. Industry circles are also optimistic about its commercial prospects, especially after the encouraging OTT deal.
The makers are currently eyeing an August 7 release and are preparing an extensive promotional campaign to boost the buzz further. As part of the next phase of promotions, a teaser is expected to be unveiled later this month.
