L2 Empuraan BO

Mohanlal’s highly anticipated L2 Empuraan, directed by Prithviraj Sukumaran, was finally released in theatres on March 27th and has received mixed responses from audiences and critics.

According to box office analysts, L2 Empuraan has collected around 110 crores in just two days and has emerged as the fastest Malayalam movie to reach 100 crores.

L2 Empuraan shattered Vijay’s Leo record in Kerala and became the highest-grossing movie in Kerala on its first day by collecting 13 crores.

Additionally, L2 Empuraan has collected around $5 million (43 crores) on its first day. Despite the average response from audiences, L2 Empuraan still has a decent hold at the box office.

Even though L2 Empuraan doesn’t meet audience expectations, it is performing exceptionally well at the box office and reaching new heights.

At the same time, except for the Malayalam version, the other language versions have almost crashed. In the North Indian market, L2 Empuraan is struggling to hold screens, as many people weren’t aware of the movie before its release, and mixed word-of-mouth post-release has further impacted its performance, say trade experts.

It remains to be seen how L2 Empuraan will perform at the box office in the coming days and whether it will emerge as the highest-grossing Malayalam movie, surpassing Manjummel Boys.
