The most celebrated movie of the summer Manam starring all the Akkineni’s together has completed its 50 days run at the box office today. It has achieved this feat in 53 direct centres according to the trade.
Ever since its release Manam and its run has been a dream come true for the Akkineni fans. The film has fulfilled some of their dreams which remained dreams till now like reaching the 30 Cr mark worldwide, crossing the 10 Cr barrier in Telugu and the Million mark in Overseas. In fact an icing on the cake is the fact that Manam is still the highest grossing Telugu movie of the year so far.
Vikram Kumar the director became a sensation overnight with many top stars wanting to do a film and finally the little glimpse it gave of Akkineni Akhil has raised the expectations among the fans to an all-time high. However ultimately Manam is a film the Akkineni fans are not going to forget in their lifetime simply for the fact that it was the last film starring the Legend Akkineni Nageshara Rao.
