Having grown up in Chennai, Manchu Manoj is good in Tamil. He is keen to make the best use of the language as he has expressed interest to do a straight Tamil film soon. Apparently, when he was busy with the music recording of Potugadu in Chennai, he met a leading producer and expressed interested to work together.

We have to wait to find out if the project materializes, but if it does then its very likely going to work in his favour. Manoj is basking in the success of Potugadu, which will soon be remade in Tamil. One wonders if he might star in the Tamil remake of Potugadu.
