“Manjummel Boys” is creating history in Tamil Nadu, with advance bookings surpassing those in its home state of Kerala.

This level of anticipation for a non-Tamil film is rare, reminiscent of the craze seen for films like “Baahubali 2” and “KGF2.”

Achieving double-digit gross collections from another state is a remarkable feat for Malayalam cinema, previously accomplished by “Pulimurugan” in the Telugu states in 2016.

During its first extended week, spanning 8 days, the movie grossed close to 4 crore in Tamil Nadu.

By the 9th day, Friday, it saw a significant increase, collecting 2 crore, and peaked on Saturday with over 4.5 crore. On the 11th day, it is expected to surpass 5 crores.

In its second weekend, the film is projected to gross over 12 crore in Tamil Nadu, despite not being dubbed in Tamil.

“Manjummel Boys” is all set to become the biggest grosser in Tamil Nadu by surpassing Rajinikanth’s Lal Salaam.

The film’s global gross is expected to exceed 90 crore today, positioning it to become the 4th Malayalam film to reach the 100 crore mark worldwide.
