Charmee-starrer Mantra 2 was launched recently, and the actress says that the film is not a sequel to hit film Mantra. Charmee says that the film bears the name Mantra 2, but does not follow the story of Mantra. She says it’s a fresh story and it will be very challenging.
She says she never thought that she will get to work in Mantra 2, but adds that when the director narrated the story to her, she was taken by surprise and instantly agreed to work in the film. The film will continue to be a horror-thriller, but with no relation to the to the first part.
Debutant director N. Satish will direct this flick, which will go on floors from Sep 26, and will be completed in a few schedules. It will feature Thagubothu Ramesh, Tanikella Bharani and Hema among many more. Will Mantra 2 help Charmee find her foothold in the industry.
