It’s really a proud feeling that our Tollywood celebrities are lending helping hands to the relief measures that are taken up to rescue the victims and restore normalcy in the cyclone affected areas of Uttarandhra region. They prove that actors aren’t just dancing dolls on screen who project reel life away from the day to day reality and hardships of real life. These acts of benevolence from Tollywood celebrities are true testimony for the feeling of brethren.
The one person who acted as torch bearer for all these real acts of benovolence is Ram Charan Tej. He is the first person from Telugu Film Industry who came forward to help the cycone victims announcing a donation of Rs.15 lakhs. After that, many huge amounts of donations flowed in for CM’s Relief Fund from Tollywood. The amounts which flowed in might be more in the terms of rupees, but the path Ram Charan showed taking the initiative to come forward to lend a helping hand is laudable.
Cherry’s act of benevolence speaks in abundance of his recent maturity levels. Speaking during the announcement of donation, Ram Charan praised both the central and state government for their efforts for providing relief and in combatting with the tough situation created by Hudhud. Though his father belongs to a party which opposes the ruling parties in the centre and state, Cherry maintained the dignity and restraint not to bring in politics in the hour of need.
