Jr NTR has crossed 75 Cr mark with the film Janatha Garage. It has made certain changes in the top Tollywood movies that brings the old challenge of Megastar and Superstar back into prominence again.

Jr NTR’s Janatha Garage is now the third highest grossing movie among Telugu films. In the past Tarak has come even closer when he had the second biggest hit of all time with Simhadri. But he never was able to get the top position like Mahesh Babu did with Pokiri crossing Indra. Now that Janatha Garage has become third highest and no other film from Jr NTR looks as strong, the trade is predicting Megastar versus Superstar competition back again with there next films which carry the maximum hype.
It’s simple now, before Baahubali 2 only two films have chance to break into the top three and they are Megastar’s upcoming Khaidi No 150 and Superstar’s next with Murugadoss. Incidentally both the films have Murugadoss’s story in common. Who will take the slot before Baahubali 2 settles the top 2 positions is to be seen.
Note: Thanks to Janatha Garage for the first time in 15 years no Mega film is present in top 3 films of all time. The other occasion in past 25 years was in the year 96 when Nagarjuna and Srikanth sprang surprise with their respective films.
