In this scenario, Tamil director Ameer Sultan took to sharp criticism against Modi and those who are supporting the ban of Rs. 500 and Rs. 1000 notes.

The director didn’t spare superstar Rajinikanth even. Why Rajinikanth? Rajinikanth was one of the first celebs to voiced their support for the PM. So, Rajni was criticized for supporting Modi on demonetization. He accused Modi alleging that he came to power with the help of film stars like Pawan Kalyan and Rajinikanth besides advertisements and publicity.
Ameer also spoke on the exorbitant rates of ‘Kabali’ tickets. He questioned if Rajini didn’t know that his film’s tickets were priced high and that would account to black money. Well, even God can’t please everyone. Modi is only human. So, criticism is bound to come. It’s sensible to take both praise and criticism equally and plan the future accordingly. What say?
