Malayalam superstar Mohanlal is very particular for the kind of roles he chooses and giving a nod to a Telugu film only means he has got a performance oriented role in the movie. So, ‘Janata Garage’ is going to bring back the superstar back to Telugu films.

Speaking about the character Mohanlal is playing in the NTR’s film, director Koratala Siva reveals that the superstar is playing a character of a car mechanic and two phases of his life will be shown in the film. Mohanlal and another Malayalam actor Rahman (Ram Charan’s father in Govindudu Andarivaadele) are playing brothers.
There is an underlying metaphor in the role of mechanic who repairs cars. That means, Mohanlal’s character also repairs people fighting against social evils, along with brother (Rahman). The superstar is going to join the next schedule of ‘Janata Garage’ which would kick start on 15th of June.
