Guinness record holder, popularly referred to as Movie Moghul, Dr. D Ramanaidu is no more. He breathed his last today in Hyderabad. He was 79 years old.
The veteran producer of over 150 films in multiple languages of India was suffering from serious illness over the past few weeks. News of his ill health has been buzzing in the industry for some time with various sorts of reports emerging out. Today however was the unfortunate day that everyone feared. Venkatesh, his younger son, came out and confirmed the death due to cancer.
D Ramanaidu is a true legend and icon of Telugu cinema with great honors to his credit like Padma Bhusan and much cherished Dada Saheb Phalke Award. We from M9News express our deepest condolences to the family. May his soul rest in peace.
