Last week, actress Nayanthara had two major releases, which were Toxic and Hi. While Nayanthara played a crucial role in Toxic, in Hi she played the main lead and also produced it under her banner, Rowdy Pictures.
Before the release of Toxic and Hi, since Toxic was a huge Pan-Indian film, many people believed that it would become a massive success and because of it Hi would go unnoticed.
However, surprisingly, Toxic ended up as a terrible disaster and crashed at the box office. On the other hand, because of the mixed reviews, Hi is doing average business in Tamil Nadu. Since Hi was the only notable release among recent Kollywood films, many theatre owners who had previously screened Toxic have now replaced it with Hi.
Consequently, social media has been flooded with lots of theories that Nayanthara already knew the result of Toxic, which is why she clashed with Toxic without any hesitation.
They prove this claim by noting that the makers of Toxic had announced its release date in June. Later, only after a few weeks, Nayanthara announced the release date of Hi and clashed with Toxic in the same week. They feel that if a person like Nayanthara was associated with both projects, they could have avoided the clash considering the size of the other project.
But Nayanthara, without any hesitation, clashed with Toxic with her medium-budget film Hi despite the size and scale of Toxic. They feel that she could have avoided it, as they suggest that now because of Hi, the collection of Toxic is getting terribly affected in Tamil Nadu.
Therefore, by pointing out all this, they feel Nayanthara released Hi only because she already knew the result of Toxic and note that she is the most cunning person in Indian cinema, claiming that she doesn’t care about the projects she has been part of and her intention is only to earn more money from her production venture.
