Telugu Desam Party is known for its anti-Congress stand since its inception. In fact, the party was instrumental in installing several non-Congress governments at the center. TDP Supremo Chandra Babu Naidu is carrying out the same legacy. He joined hands with Narendra Modi before the elections and reduced Congress to a position in which they are at the mercy of Lok Sabha Speaker to attain opposition Leader status.
Thats not all. Chandra Babu decided to humiliate Congress nationally by not inviting any Congress Chief Minister to his swearing-in ceremony. Invitations are sent to all other Chief Ministers and Union Minister. Chandra Babu even personally invited his Telangana counter part KCR but could not excuse Congress leaders. It is said that YS Jagan is also invited to the event but was not invited personally by Chandra Babu.
