SS Rajamouli’s magnum opus film, Baahubali is the first ever Telugu film to have simultaneous release in Telugu, Tamil, Hindi and Malayalam languages. However strangely the film was lapped well by neighbouring states media than our own Telugu media.

While most of our media ratings and reviews hovered between Average to Hit, the movie had unanimous hit talk from Tamil and Hindi media. The first screening of the movie was done for Hindi media in Mumbai and as soon as the show concluded, positive reviews started flowing in. One reason could be the expectations on the director’s previous flawless work, when it comes to non Telugus their expectations are different and they see film differently compared to Telugu audience.
All the Hindi media personnel had several good things to say about the movie. No sooner they did that, the bookings of the Hindi version have got better. Except for Malayalam where the movie release is plagued by some internal issues, the movie is doing better job every where across the globe.
