Filmmaker A.R Murugadoss has confirmed that his next Hindi project won’t be a remake and will be based on a fresh script. As he plans to return to Hindi industry next year, but hasn’t decided with who he will work. While there were rumours earlier that he will team up with Bollywood’s baadshah Shah Rukh Khan, but he has refuted it.
He said that he had planned to make a film with SRK, but since the latter couldn’t accommodate dates, he dropped the idea and instead is planning on direct a straight Hindi film soon. Murugadoss had also directed a Telugu film called Stalin many years and when asked about his absence from the industry, he said he would return soon and make a film. He said next year he plans to make a film each in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi.
Talking about Holiday, he said that it will bear resemblance to Thuppakki because he didn’t want to change much as it was always a successful film and he was more keen on following the formula.
