Namita was once a hot and happening actress down south. She had a host of films lined up and had a huge following in Tamil Nadu. But off late, she is nowhere to be seen.

One of the main reasons for that was her out of shape figure which is a must for heroines these days. But somehow she kept things afloat and managed to bag a film opposite Mohan Lal in yesterday’s release Manyam Puli.
All those who saw the film have some strong words to say about Namitha and her out of shape looks. Adding insult to injury, her character was so cheesy that it put off many who were enjoying the proceedings.
Namitha’s track with the star hero looks so forced that it disturbed the flow of the film big time. On the other hand, Kamalini Mukherjee who also played the other heroine showed some respite and managed to impress.
