Pawan’s loss is Vijay’s gain?

Now that Pawan’s AD is out of the race this weekend at the box-office, and that means it’s an added advantage for Vijay’s Thalaivaa, which is being dubbed in Telugu and releasing in Andhra Pradesh in good number of theaters.

Earlier it was set that Vijay would have compete at the box-office with Pawan Kalyan, but now it seems like he is going to rule alone. The film, which is politically inclined, is expected to have a good opening in Telugu as well feels its distributor.

Vijay’s last two films such as Nanban and Thuppakki failed to rake in the moolah in Andhra Pradesh, even though the films were blockbuster in Tamil. One of the serious concerns about Thalaivaa is its running time, which is nearly clocking three hours.
