One of the big films from Telugu cinema in recent times released today in the form of Peddi. The film had its debut a few hours ago, and it is running to packed capacity in most theatres across the Telugu states.
Coming to the topic, there was this one major concern about this film that was really troubling mega fans for a while.
This is primarily regarding the music composition aspect of the film as Rahman slowdown considerably after the initial blockbuster Chikiri. There were doubts whether he would be the right man for the job at this point.
To make matters worse, Rahman had earlier delivered one of his worst musical compositions for visually brilliant film Chhava. So people were kept about his continued ability for Peddi now.
But finally, the good thing that Rahman was able to deliver a reasonably good audio track for this Ram Charan film. The songs are decent on screen, and the background score is equally impressive as well.
There is no trace of repetitive music that is a standard template in commercial films these days by Rahman came up with different tracks for each sequence and was still able to do the job. This is some smart and efficient work from the veteran music composer.
After watching the film, the majority of the public consensus is that Rahman has not disappointed anyone. This is some positive news for Charan fans as bad music and literally kill a film and this issue has been avoided by Charan luckily.
