Aamir Khan starrer PK which released yesterday has met gigantic expectations for a majority of audience and as a result the numbers it has got are good as well. The film which isn’t regular commercial entertainer has therefore found a place in the top three openers of all time on non holiday.
PK has collected approximately 27 Cr on Day 1 which is second biggest opener of all time on a non holiday. It is only next to another Aamir Khan starrer Dhoom 3 which made approximately 32 Cr on its opening day exactly a year ago. Salman Khan starrer Kick with 25 Cr rounds off the top 3. When one looks all time list that includes both holidays and non-holidays, PK is the sixth biggest opener with SRK’s Happy New Year leading the pack.
As the talk on the film is good PK is expected to be a stable in the coming days and post some stunning numbers as the week comes to close challenging those at the very top.
