PK and Oh My God, these two films seem inseparable at the moment. Ever since PK released there have been various talks on how the former film has been a replica of the latter. While people were discussing the similarities a new story emerged that took everyone by surprise.
It was alleged that the makers of PK had literally tried to buy out the maker from making the film as they shared similar theme. It was reported that Aamir Khan, Raju Hirani and Vidhu Vinod Chopra, had reportedly offered him 8 Cr to stop from the making the film. When the director of the film Umesh Shukla came to know of this gossip he was furious and termed it as absolute rubbish.
When asked if he has seen the film PK, the director said that he has seen the film and he felt no similarity with his film. He concluded by saying that when one makes a love story there are bound to be some common elements but that doesn’t make them copies of one another, it’s the same case with PK and OMG.
