The trouble between Ragini Dwivedi and producer Venkatesh in Sandalwood had taken a nasty turn when the producer approached police to lodge complaint on the actress and her brother, costume designer Rudraksh for not returning the advance paid by him for his film ‘Nati Koli’.

Going into the details, Ragini was paid Rs.10 lakhs as advance and Rs.6 crore for her brother for her costumes. After an alleged fight during the photo shoot of the film, the producer demanded his advance back, but the actress and her brother didn’t return the amount and said they would work in his next film.
After the issue stood unresolved for 8 months, the producer finally approached police and filed a complaint on the actress and her brother. Producer Venkatesh and director of ‘Nati Koli’ were allegedly beaten up by Ragini’s alleged boyfriend, another producer Shiva Prakash during the above mentioned photo shoot.
