Prabhas had shown his Pan-India stamina with Adipurush despite a very negative campaign from all quarters. All eyes are on his next two projects – Salaar and Project K. Salaar is releasing in September and there is so much curiosity about what Nag Ashwin is doing with Project K.
There is a hint of the movie story doing rounds in the Filmnagar.
The story goes like this – “Sci-Fi, Fantasy, Supernatural, and action film on the lines of Marvel films. It is a simple story of the victory of good over evil. But to give it a different twist, Nag Ashwin added fantasy to the story.
According to Hindu Mythology, Lord Vishnu takes one avatar in one Yuga to kill the bad. Prabhas is the incarnation of Lord Vishnu of this Yuga. This Avatar is a modern hero who takes villains of this age with modern weapons and warfare. It is basically the Vishnu Avatar of Modern times. The Lord obviously will have access to technology that is more advanced than what it is today. The story is all about how he saves the World for the villain (Kamal Hassan)”
The idea looks exciting on paper. The key is to create such a world that will even fascinate the audience who watch Marvel movies. If Nag Ashwin is able to crack that, then, Prabhas will be a perfect cutout for such a story and the box office potential will also be massive.
