Very recently Puri Jagannath graced the audio launch event of an upcoming movie ‘Kai Raja Kai’ on his birthday. On that stage he announced that he would come up with a solid strategy to encourage the new entourage of film makers who have talent but no source or viability to get the producers to trust them. True to his word Puri Jagannath came up with a latest announcement.
Earlier when Puri met veteran director Dasari Narayana Rao on an occasion, Dasari questioned Puri why he isn’t making small films and stressed on the point that industry survives because of small films. Taking Dasari’s advice seriously and decided that from next year he is going to produce small films continuously on his banner. Hence he would be asking for new stories from writers. If the story is okay then he would even ask for a bound script otherwise he would call for story sittings with his own people and develop stories for making small films. Good deed indeed! He is not a man of just words but real feasible action.
