An unfortunate incident occurred at the Sandhya Theatre in RTC Cross Road during the premiere of Pushpa 2: The Rule.
Allu Arjun arrived to attend the movie screening, and a large crowd of fans gathered to see him.
As the crowd surged forward, the police had to disperse them. This led to a stampede, resulting in severe injuries to Revathi (39), who later succumbed to her injuries while receiving treatment at the hospital.
Her son, Sritej (9), was severely affected and required CPR from the police before being rushed to Begumpet KIMS Hospital.
About 200 police officers were stationed at the theatre.
Revathi had arrived with her family from Dilsukhnagar, excited to watch Pushpa 1= 2, but tragically, she lost her life in this unforeseen incident.
