Rajinikanth was on the receiving end for supporting ‘Sarkar’ lashing out against Tamil Nadu government for the protests to remove a few scenes from the movie that are allegedly against the government and the schemes of the AIADMK government. A write-up by the party’s mouth piece found fault with Rajinikanth’s support for ‘Sarkar’.

Rajini said that the movie was passed by the Censor Board and hence, the political party has no right to protest and demand removal of the scenes. But, the write-up counter questioned if Rajinikanth will consume a certified food packet in which he finds a lizard because of the certifications on the product. Well, the logic is in its place and the political protests on the movie have their own agendas in their place. What say?
It’s not easy these days to be in political space and one must agree that the films that are made with political backdrop have become the soft targets, especially, in Tamil Nadu. Vijay’s AR Murugadoss directorial ‘Sarkar’ is facing the heat and the makers had to remove a scene and also mute another scene in the movie.
