Presently Rana has moved on from ‘Baahubali’ to his next projects; one with director Teja and another, a Telugu-Tamil bilingual which is a period drama set n the pre-Independence era of our country. Regina is playing the heroine in the movie.

Speaking about her role in the film, Regina reveals that she is playing Rana’s fiancee who is supposed to get married to him. She will be seen sporting saris being is a Chettiar girl in the film while Rana is a soldier in Subhash Chandra Bose’s Indian National Army fighting for the freedom of the country.
Though this film is a period drama, it is basically a love story. Since it is set in the period of 1940s, one can expect scenes of Indian struggle in full swing and a love story in this backdrop is going to be certainly an interesting concept. Like we had seen Varun Tej’s look in ‘Kanche’, we can expect something similar for Rana even.
