After the huge success of Pelli Choopulu, Suresh production eyed yet another small and fun film called Pittagoda and hoped that the film will recreate the magic of Pelli Choopulu especially in the US.

But sadly, the film has not met the expectations of many and opened to some very mixed reviews all over. Though there are some good performances in the film, things have not worked in favor of this small film which is set in the small town.
The overseas collections of this film are only $1,392 which is quite poor for a film which was promoted quite well. The same situation was for Saptagiri Express as the film collected only a total of $170 which is a disaster in the overseas market.
The only solace was the film Vangaveeti which made $44K at the US box office with a limited release.
But the main problem was for Suresh Productions as their film fell short of their expectations and is struggling big time in the overseas.
