Senior 4: Sympathy Reserved for Chiru Only?

Chiranjeevi Nagarjuna Venkatesh BalakrishnaChiranjeevi’s Bhola Shankar will stand as a massive disaster in Megastar’s post-comeback era, surpassing Acharya. Given its Megastar status and high stakes, the film naturally attracts media attention.

A segment of critics and fans are sending numerous sympathetic messages to Megastar, calling it hits and flops are common and Megatar will make a strong comeback and silence his critics.

This raises the question: Does this sympathy only emerge for Megastar’s flop films? In cases of Balayya, Nagarjuna, and Venky delivering failures, we witness ruthless trolling, but sympathy doesn’t seem to flow for their movies or career. Balayya bears the brunt of the trolls, followed by Nagarjuna. But there will be never this kind of sympathy for them.

As Megastar himself stated, a 2.25 rating led to $2.25 million. Should critics now revise their ratings below 0.5, as Bhola Shankar may not even reach $500K?

It’s interesting to note that not just fans but even a section of die-hard critics are showering sympathy on a star who is least affected by these results. If any sympathy is warranted, it should go to the producer. However, blind fandom often prevents seeing beyond the star’s aura.
