bhool_bhulaiyaa_Hera_PheriIn the past few days, the third parts of two of the successful franchise movies have been announced. One is Hera Pheri 3, and the other is Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3.

Hera Pheri 1 was released in 2000 and was an average fare at the box office. But, over the years, the film has developed a cult following as one of the best comedy films in Bollywood, despite being a remake. Its sequel, Phir Hera Pheri, was released in 2006 and emerged as a hit film. The film was no match to the first part, but over the years, it got popular due to the meme culture.

Now the third part of this franchise has been announced after 17 years after its second part was released, starring the same trio of Akshay Kumar, Suneil Shetty, and Paresh Rawal.

Going by some leaked pics from its promo shoot, all three actors are now looking old and would look weird and unconvincing doing slapstick comedy. On top of that, the film is reportedly going to be directed by Farhad Samji, who is famous for ruining films with his senseless direction and cringe comedy. His name alone is enough to create negativity for this film.

Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 revived Bollywood last year when big-budget films like Laal Singh Chaddha and Samraat Prithviraj were biting the dust. The film turned out to be a blockbuster.

Now to cash in on the craze of the franchise, the third part, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3, has been announced, starring Kartik Aaryan again reprising the role of Rooh Baba. Anees Bazmee is again going to direct the third part.

Anees Bazmee recently said that he was working on a film with Shahid Kapoor. And now, out of nowhere, this third part of Bhool Bhulaiyaa has been announced. It just means not much thought has been given to developing the script of the third part, and makers just want to milk money out of this franchise and are making this film as a project in a hurry.

There are also rumors that Awara Pagal Deewana 2, Rowdy Rathore 2, and other such sequels are in the pipeline because Bollywood makers think that only sequels will work now.

This culture only goes on to prove that Bollywood makers are still not learning from their mistakes and have run out of original ideas. They just want to rehash old content and serve them to the audience and make a fool out of them. This will eventually collapse Bollywood in the long run.
