After the debacle of Siddharth-Samantha ‘Jabardasth, the hero did not do any movie in Telugu. It was not only because of the film’s debacle but because Sid got himself into controversy by making insulting comments on the quality of Telugu movies and the tastes of Telugu audiences. An unofficial ban is lingering on the star and no film maker from Tollywood is ready to do any film with him.
At last one of his films ‘Jigarthanda’ which won rave reviews for both content and the actors’ performances is going to be released in Telugu finally. The Telugu dubbing version ‘Chikkadu Dorakadu’ is going to released in the second week of October. Initially Telugu version was touted to be released alongwith the original. But due to some financial reasons that didn’t happen. This film is directed by Karthik Subbaraju of ‘Pizza’ fame. Lakshmi Menon of ‘Indrudu’ fame played the heroine. This movie was mentioned as one of the must watch movie by Forbes India Magazine before its release.
