Anjali has only one film in Tollywood ‘Geetanjali’ which is almost ready for release. But as the release date is soon approaching, cine-lovers are enquiring on the item number. Writer turned director Kona Venkat already announced that there would be an item number in the film picturised on a top heroine. But his attempts to make top heroines Samanta and Kajal dance for the item number turned fruitless. Reportedly Samanta refused the offer while Kajal wasn’t happy with the remuneration offered and hence she too declined the offer because they didn’t want to risk their image for smaller amounts.
One more thing which is obstructing the item number is the special song will also feature comedian Brahmanandam. That means any actress who accepts the item number has to dance with the comedian. Seems this too didn’t go well with the actresses. And finally as the release date is approaching, it struck the director that their heroine Anjali has already sizzled for an item number in Surya’s ‘Singham’. What if they plan the item number with Anjali instead of going for other heroines? According to the inside talk, the director is seriously planning for the item number on his heroine though not yet confirmed. The audio launch of the film will happen on 20th July according to the latest update.
