Single screen theaters demand ticket price hike!

Single screen theaters demand ticket price hike! The Single Screen Theatre Owners Association has come up with the demand to raise the price of tickets to Rs 100 as they complained that managing theaters is becoming increasingly difficult at current prices. The Single Screen Theatre Owners Association suggested that the ticket prices be raised to Rs 100, with fixed rates for three different classes. But producers demand that they should have a choice in whether to increase the price or not. This demand they say is in favour of big films so that they get good openings.

Telangana government is also examining the idea of having fifth show in the theaters so that small films will have a breathing space in this extra show. Also there is a demand to abolish slab system in taxation and theater owners demand that the taxation should depend on the occupancy of the theaters.
