Varisu is Thaman’s Big moment in Tamil. He is giving it all to make music special so that his place in the Tamil Top league will be sealed.
The other day at the film’s audio launch, Thaman delivered an emotional speech. Calling himself an ardent fan of Vijay, Thaman says that it is a dream come true after years of waiting.
“I grew up in Chennai and now my life is complete. I don’t need any other award. If I talk a little more I will cry,” Thaman added.
But that emotional speech did not go well with Telugu fans.
“Thaman changes colors with the Situation. He becomes an NTR fan at the ASVR event and a Pawan Kalyan fan at the Bheemla Nayak event. When in Chennai, he becomes a Vijay fan and will say his life is incomplete only after scoring music for Vijay,” they criticize.
There are numerous such comments as Thaman’s speech went viral on social media.
But then, it may be too harsh to call Thaman names because the industry runs that way. Stars are to be buttered to stay in their good books and even in the good books of fans.
Thaman may be a bit more visible but everyone here is the same.
