There is this one reference in this film to a recent troll video of Sr NTR from his old films. The “amateurish” dialogue sequence had been in the social trends for a while now and it was placed in this film as well.
This clearly did not go well with hardcore TDP supporters, and NTR fandom. They unanimously called out the makers of this Varun Tej film for putting up such defaming stuff against NTR.
There are event speculations that the team might have orchestrated the troll video of NTR in the first place and then milked it in the film for publicity. This was denounced later though.
But at the end of the day, it must also be kept in mind that every hero or mainstream personality faces trolls and memes on social media without exceptions.
There might be an argument to exclude legendary personalities like NTR from this, but that is impractical in this era of social media where hate posts is the mainstream thing.
