Nani’s highly anticipated film, The Paradise, has generated interest following the raw statement announcement video, which presented the leading star with braids. Nani’s different look created curiosity about the film ahead of its theatrical release.
Director Srikanth Odela took to X to reveal the nostalgic memory that inspired him to craft such a look. He wrote, “Jadal’s birth and battle might be fictional…but his braids & look were inspired from my childhood… A lot of the scenes in the film are influenced by my childhood as i grew up…”
He shared a photo of himself wearing braids and explained the context behind it. “Amma used to grow and tie Jadal until i turned 5 or 6 years… and as i grew older i always imagined how a hero would look on 70MM with braids in a commercial cinema… and cut to present, presenting my Hero Nani Anna with Jadal.”
Srikanth further spoke about the significance of the look, stating, “This picture is not just my childhood. This picture is my Paradise. Welcoming you all to #TheParadise in a few hours.” The statement highlights how a childhood memory influenced the character’s look in the film.
In a few hours, the movie will release worldwide with premieres, while it will open widely from tomorrow. The movie has already recorded Nani’s highest Day 1 gross with premieres and Day 1 advance bookings. The film is now set to introduce Jadal and his story to audiences in theatres.
