Like every year, India is preparing to send it’s official entry for the most prestigious ‘Academy Awards’. The panel set up for the purpose is going to watch the most acclaimed films of this year from both Bollywood and regional films. Of course, Rajamouli’s ‘Baahubali is going to be one of the movie sent for screening before the selection committee.

It’s not only ‘Baahubali’, even Mahesh Babu’s ‘Srimanthudu’ is also going to be one of the regional films to be screened before the Oscar screening commitee from India headed by chairman Amol Palekar of Film Federation of India.
Besides the two Telugu films and some other regional films, two of the biggest block busters, Aamir Khan’s ‘pk’ and Salman Khan ‘Bhajrangi Bhaijaan’ are going to be among the movies vying for Oscar nominations from India.
It’s a kind of proud moment for Telugu Industry as there had been a lot of criticism that Tollywood can’t make ‘Award Winning Films’. ‘Baahubali and Srimanthudu have changed the scenario.
